SSC CHSL – Skill Test For DEO: Data Entry Operator


According to information given at website of Staff Selection Commission only those aspirants who will secure at least the minimum qualifying marks (as per advertisement) in the competitive written examination will be called for skill test. Skill Test is to test your data entry speed of 8000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour on computer.

Authority will allow candidate to give SSC CHSL skill test within 15 minutes. You will be given printed matter in English containing about 2000 to 2200 strokes/key-depressions.

SSC CHSL Typing Test For LDC – Lower Division Clerk


SSC CHSL Exam: Staff Selection Commission notified that Typing Test will organize for those candidates who will be able to get minimum qualifying marks in the Written Examination. Candidates having choice to give Typing Test in English or Hindi language. Candidate need to indicate language choice in the Application Form.

Aspirants who decided to give test in English language must have minimum speed of 35 words per minute and those selected Hindi should have typing speed of 30 words per minute. 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10500 key depressions
